Honouring Coimbatore's Iconic Symbols: Celebrating the Earring Ceremony in a Chariot Cart!

The boy was brought in a chariot cart to Coimbatore to celebrate the earring ceremony in a bid to honour the city. However, the parade featured the famous iconic symbols of Coimbatore arranged in a row.



Coimbatore: The kid was carried in a chariot cart to celebrate the earring ceremony in an effort to glorify Coimbatore, taking Coimbatore's prominent emblems in row.

Maheshwaran hails from Sanganoor in Coimbatore. 



The earring ceremony of his son Pugazhendhi, a boy, was held in the same area.



For this kathani festival, eight models of the symbols such as railway station, manikoondu, koniamman temple, maruthamalai temple, etc., were brought in a chariot cart in Coimbatore.

It was said that these symbols were brought in a row to glorify Coimbatore. They also said that they were taking out a rally to create awareness about the symbols of our district.
