Train service Awareness campaign by Pothanur Rail users association

The people of Coimbatore are coming together to undertake a campaign trip to demand better railway facilities from the authorities. The thirteen point demand aims to improve the existing railway services in the city and make it more accessible to commuters.



Coimbatore: On Saturday, at 8:00 AM, Pothanur Rail users association will start a campaign Train service Awareness campaign.



This journey will be held in Pothanur, Mettur market, GD Naidu Tank, Konavaikal Palayam, Vellalore, Chettipalayam, SIDCO, Edayarpalayam, Kuniyamuthur, Athupalam, Kurichi, Sundarapuram.



The campaign will begin in the afternoon from Sundarapuram, and street meetings will be held for 10 to 15 minutes at Ukkadam, Flower Market, RS Puram, Saibaba Colony, Saibaba Temple, North Coimbatore, Olympus, Ramanathapuram, Nanjundapuram, etc. and will reach Pothanur at seven o'clock.

The programme will end at 8 o'clock after a street meeting in Pothanur.

With a thirteen-point demand to the train authorities to improve the train amenities in Coimbatore, this campaign trip is going to be held for the residents of Coimbatore.

The trains should benefit the common people and the importance of its role in the development of the region will be emphasised.
