Public Grievances Redressal Camp on behalf of Police in Coimbatore - 139 petitions resolved

A total of 141 petitions were taken up for hearing at a public grievances redressal camp conducted by the police in Coimbatore. During the hearing, 139 petitions were disposed of amicably.


Coimbatore: As many as 139 petitions were disposed of amicably at a public grievances redressal camp organised by the Police in Coimbatore.

A public grievance redressal camp was held on behalf of the district police at the premises of Coimbatore Police Training School today. Not satisfied with the action taken on the petitions submitted by the public, the people filed a petition seeking re-investigation.



A total of 141 petitions received at the public grievances redressal camp, which was presided over by Coimbatore District SP Badrinarayanan, was heard.



An FIR was ordered to be registered on two petitions in the re-investigation.



Of these, 139 petitions were disposed of amicably.

"If you are not satisfied with the action taken by the police, you can file a petition at the office of the deputy superintendent of police of the respective division.
