Woman attempted Suicide at Tirupur Collector office to Save Husband from False Attempt to Murder Case

In a shocking incident, a woman named Senthila attempted suicide at the district collectorate in Tirupur alleging that the police were trying to falsely file an attempt to murder case against her husband.


Tirupur: The Tirupur district collectorate was busy as usual this morning. At this stage, a woman with the children was going here and there.

The woman, who had gone to the second floor of the collectorate, suddenly tried to commit suicide by slitting her hand with a blade.

Seeing this, the officials and the public shouted.



The police, who were on security duty, rescued the woman and sent her to the Tirupur Government Medical College Hospital for treatment. The police also questioned the woman about the reason for her attempted suicide.

The woman has been identified as Senthila (35) and is a resident of Chandrapuram in Tirupur. She also told the police that the Nallur police were trying to falsely implicate her husband Lakshmanan in an attempt to murder case and had attempted suicide to protest against the false case being filed against her husband.
