Due to maintenance work in areas under the Poolankinar sub-station near Udumalpet, power outage has been scheduled from 9 am to 2 pm.
Tirupur: Power supply will be suspended at the Poolanginar sub-station tomorrow since maintenance work is underway.
In a statement, T Murthy, Executive Engineer, Operation and Maintenance, Udumalai Electricity Board announced that maintenance works will be carried out on the lines located at Poolanginar and Thali Peedars which are under the Poolankginar sub-station.
Due to this, there will be no power supply from 9 am to 2 pm in Vadapoothinatham, S P Natham, Valavadi, Thali, Thirumoorthy Nagar, Jallipatti, Onagalur, Chandana Karuppanur, Lingamavur and Kurichikottai areas.
