Coimbatore: City Police Commissioner K Balakrishnan inaugurated the Police Boys Club on behalf of the City Police at Vellalore Government School.

The city police are pursuing a variety of measures to combat drug smuggling and selling throughout Coimbatore. They are particularly concerned with raising drug awareness among high school and college students.

In this situation, Coimbatore city police have launched a movement called "Police Boys Club" with private participation at Vellalore Government Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore.

Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan participated in the inaugural function and inaugurated the club. Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of Police Balakrishnan said that generally students are addicted to two drugs. One is a cell phone and the other is drugs that can intoxicate the body.

The city police are taking various steps to prevent this and guide the students. It is only through games and books that they can shift their focus to guide students in particular.

Therefore, students should also spend time at school and at home for this. Parents and teachers have to confirm them. Also, students should not be addicted to cell phones.

When they use their cell phones, those companies will continue to show them websites where they can be entertained. As a result, students will become addicted to it and will be unable to come out. Students should constantly be cautious. Parents should also take a hard look at them.

School headmaster Jayashree and others were present on the occasion.
