One killed as water tanker hits two-wheeler near Thadagam road

He was on his way to work on the Vadamadurai -Thadagam Road on his Bajaj Pulsar two-wheeler when the mishap occurred.


Coimbatore: Kesavan, a welder was killed on the spot when a speeding water tanker hit the two-wheeler he was riding on the Vadamadurai Thadagam road in Coimbatore.

Kesavan hails from Palanigoundan Pudur near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore. He used to work as a welder.

He was on his way to work on the Vadamadurai -Thadagam Road on his Bajaj Pulsar two-wheeler when the mishap occurred.

Kesavan, who was seriously injured in the accident, died on the spot. Thudiyalur police, who reached the spot on receiving information, registered a case and recovered Kesavan's body and sent it for post-mortem.

Following this, the police seized the water tanker and they are interrogating the driver Sivagurunathan.
