452 kg Gutka products seized and 2 arrested in Sulur

Selvaraj son of Jayakrishnan (37) from the Ondipudur area of Coimbatore and Mangalaram son of Mohanlal (48) from Rajasthan state were arrested in this regard.



Coimbatore: Based on a tip off about peddling gutka in Sulur, a team headed by the Sub-Inspector carried out a secret expedition on Saturday.

The police team arrived at the Sulur Pallapalayam (Near Aavin Tea Shop).

Gutka materials weighing 452 kg and four-wheeler 2 were seized during the inspection and the two were remanded under judicial custody.
