Cancel Rahul Gandhi's disqualification - Congress workers send a letter to PM

Congress workers staged a protest in front of the Pollachi head post office demanding the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's disqualification as MP. They were protesting to send a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


Coimbatore: A group of People from Pollachi in Coimbatore district staged a protest demanding the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's disqualification as an MP.



Congress leaders across the country have been protesting against the disqualification of Congress president Rahul Gandhi as a member of Parliament.



As part of this, the Pollachi city Congress party condemned the murder of democracy by taking away Rahul Gandhi's post. There was also a protest to send a letter to Pm Modi demanding that the MP's dismissal be revoked.



The protest was held in front of the Pollachi Central Post Office and the Congress workers raised slogans against the central government and condemning Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Later, the Congress workers staged a protest by mailing a letter written to Modi seeking cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's removal from MP.

The Congress also warned that the removal of young leader Rahul Gandhi's MP should be revoked immediately or else various protests would be launched.
