Prepping for Prime minister’s visit: Army Helicopter exercise in Nilgiris!

On April 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Teppakadu elephant camp at Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the Nilgiris region. There, he visits domesticated elephants and feeds them, as well as meeting the elder tribal elephant pagans.


The Nilgiris: He will travel to Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka on 9th April at 7:15 a.m. to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the country's tiger conservation programme's inception.



Theppakadu Rearing Elephant Camp in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve will be where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive by road at 9.35 p.m. Along with feeding the farmed elephants there, the senior tribal elephant Pagan meets the pagan community and hears their complaints about the difficulties associated with capturing wild elephants.

Later, he meets the three anti-poaching guards who assisted in the capture of the T23 tiger alive. The Prime Minister will then pay a visit to Bomman and Belli, who starred in the Oscar-winning documentary The Elephant Miss, as well as the elephant cubs Raghu and Bhumi.



Following that, the Prime Minister will honor the Field Directors and 8 Frontline Workers of 12 Tiger Reserves for their outstanding performance in India's 53 tiger reserves.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will then drive to Masinagudi and finally fly to Mysore. While 2,000 police officers will be positioned in advance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit, PM Modi will depart from Masinagudi in an army chopper after the function is completed. The military helicopter drill was held today.
