Young Author from Coimbatore Rithvik Bala felicitated during Young Achievers Event at Tamil Nadu Raj Bhavan during Governor's Birthday Celebration!

Rithvik Bala, the young author of the book 'Adventures of Scottish Pirates and the Deadly Dragon', was one of the many young achievers who were invited to the birthday celebration of the Governor of Tamil Nadu held at Rajbhavan on Monday.

Coimbatore: In honour of the Tamil Nadu Governor's birthday celebration on Monday, Rithvik Bala, a young author of the book "Adventures of Scottish Pirates and the Deadly Dragon," attended the Young Achievers event hosted at Rajbhavan.

From all over the state, up to 28 young achievers were called to this celebration where they were recognised for their accomplishments.

One of the invitees was a 9th grader named Rithvik Bala from Coimbatore. He authored and released a work of fiction in October 2021 titled "Adventures of Scottish Pirates and the Deadly Dragon." He is presently writing a Science Fiction after making an impressive accomplishment with his debut book.

While speaking to Simplicity about his experience at RajBhavan, Rithvik said, "There were 4 writers, and the rest included entrepreneurs, scientists, and innovators. Fortunately, I had the chance to give the honourable Governor a copy of my novel at the event. It was definitely a proud moment when he graciously introduced me to his wife and the others. I could have explored a broader range of accomplishments on that platform.

Due to his academic obligations, he observed that his current fiction is moving slowly and hasn't even reached the introduction stage. Robin Cook and a few other well-known writers served as his inspiration for his science fiction. This science fiction's central idea centres on a future founded on current scientific advancements.

He emphasised that, as always, his father is his primary source of inspiration. In addition, because there isn't enough reading being done these days, like most authors, he occasionally experiences writer's block. "My second task is taking longer than I expected it to. My opinion is that length is not a problem, but the outcome is, and I intend to give it as the best one, with a larger reading audience. In the meantime, he mentioned that he encourages his friends to read, particularly moving from non-fiction to fiction. His position as an author serves as a challenge to people his generation to work hard and explore all of the possibilities in their area of interest.

The Governor gave Rithvik a copy of Narendra Modi's novel "Exam Warriors" on this special occasion. In the handwritten note of gratitude that was included with the book, Rithvik was referred to as a young eagle who would soar to great heights.

The message of the Governor to young achievers was conveyed by Rithvik's mother, Prabavathi, in the meantime. It was observed that the governor reminisced about his youth and how his desire to succeed in the world had led to his current position. He emphasised how important it is for children to play a role in the development of the country. His line, "You are like a young Eagle born to soar the sky," captured the speech's central idea. On your wings, our nation soars as you soar through the heavens.
