Sub-Treasury Officer lauded for distributing competitive exam books free of cost in Udumalpet

With the noble thought of motivating students in Udumalpet, Muthukumar, the Sub-Treasury Officer of Pollachi distributes competitive examination books free of cost for the benefit of students.


Tirupur: Muthukumar, a Sub-Treasury Officer is being lauded for his noble gesture in motivating students by distributing competitive exam books free of cost in Udumalpet.

A coaching centre for competitive examinations is functioning in the Branch Library II, opposite Udumalai Uzhavar Market in Tirupur District. The students are trained here to pass the Government exams and join Government service. In order to encourage students to join Government service, Muthukumar, the Sub Treasury Officer, from Pollachi has been distributing competitive examination books, free of cost, for the benefit of students. Muthukumar has presented books worth Rs. 10000 to aid studying for various Central and State Government competitive exams.

In the last competitive exam, 11 candidates had cleared the exam and this year, while nine candidates appeared for the TNPSC exam, two have cleared it.
