Coimbatore medical student's photo released in an obscene manner - Two persons, including a woman IT employee, arrested

Police have arrested kausalya, a woman IT employee, and her friend Balakrishnan, who posted a medical student’s photo in an obscene manner due to a fight with her who is a relative near Veerapandi in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: Police have arrested two persons, including a woman IT employee, for allegedly misrepresenting the photograph of a medical student near Veerapandi in Coimbatore.

Kausalya, a native of Veerapandi in Coimbatore, works in the IT sector. One of her relatives is studying MBBS in a medical college. They had a difference of opinion and had a tiff.

Due to this, IT employee Kausalya plans to take revenge on the relative girl. Following this, she befriended Balakrishnan of Thondamuthur, a friend of the relative.

Balakrishnan took a photo of the woman and sent it to Kausalya through social media. Kausalya, who received the photo, uploaded it on social media, portraying it obscenely by morphing it.

Shocked to see the obscene photo, the woman along with her relatives lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police in Coimbatore district. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested IT employee Kausalya and the relative's friend Balakrishnan.

The news has sent shockwaves among the people of Veerapandi and the relatives of the girl.
