Hindu outfits including Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal pay tribute to 1998 serial Coimbatore bomb blast victims

Since then, every year on February 14, tributes are being paid to those who lost their lives in the bomb blasts and today marks the 25th anniversary of the tragedy. “Tithi” was also given by mentioning each one of the names of the deceased at the Perur Ghat.



Coimbatore: The cadres of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (Bajrang Dal) paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the 1998 serial Coimbatore bomb blasts.

On February 14, 1998, about 58 people were killed in a series of bomb blasts that took place in Coimbatore city. More than 1,000 people were also seriously injured in the blats.

Since then, every year on February 14, tributes are being paid to those who lost their lives in the bomb blasts. Today marks the 25th anniversary of the tragedy.

On this occasion, this year too, events are being held at various places to pay homage to the bomb blast victims.



As part of this, Hindu outfits including Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal paid homage to the victims of the blasts at Perur Ghat.

The ritual of "Tithi” was also given by mentioning the names of the deceased.

Functionaries belonging to the outfits including Divisional Secretary Sivalingam, Coimbatore City District Secretary Ravindran and others took part.
