TNSTC bus rams into a Private school van near Kinathukadavu

A private school van dashed against an electric pole at Kallankattuputhur near Kinathukadavu when it was rammed by a TNSTC bus. A major accident was averted as there were no school students in the van.



Coimbatore: The school van of a private school on the Coimbatore-Pollachi road near Kinathukadavu was rammed by a TNSTC bus.

The van took a turn towards the petrol pump in the Kallangadupudur area in the morning after dropping the students off at the school when the accident occurred.

The accident occurred when the TNSTC bus coming from Coimbatore to Valparai rammed the rear side of the school van.



In the impact, the school van hit an electric pole on the roadside and came to a halt.



Also, the front portion of the government bus was damaged in the accident, but none was injured.

Traffic on the Pollachi-Coimbatore road was disrupted for some time due to the accident. Later, Kinathukadavu police reached the spot and removed the vehicles involved in the accident and are conducting an investigation into the accident.
