DMK alliance will win Erode East by-election - Jawahirullah

Speaking after the state executive committee meeting of the Manithaneya Workers Union held in Tirupur, Manithaneya Makkal Katchi leader Jawahirullah said, the AIADMK, which has mortgaged itself to the BJP, is in a state of confusion.


Tirupur: Manithaneya Makkal Katchi leader Jawahirullah has said that the DMK alliance will win the Erode East by-election.



The state executive committee meeting of the Manithaneya Workers Union was held at a private marriage hall on Noyyal Road in Tirupur. Jawahirullah, leader of the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi, was the chief guest and delivered the keynote address.



Later, speaking to reporters, Jawahirullah said, the Manithaneya Workers' Union opposes the central government's move to repeal 44 types of laws and bring in four sets of laws in favour of big factory owners.

A resolution has been passed that the Tamil Nadu government should take steps to implement social work protection, wage fixation and weekly off for domestic workers in the state.
