Two-wheeler collides with electric pole near Mettupalayam - One person seriously injured

Darshan, who was sitting behind, was seriously injured when a two-wheeler in which he was travelling lost control and rammed into an electric pole near AVB School on Mettupalayam Road.


Coimbatore: One person was seriously injured when a two-wheeler lost control of the road at Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district and rammed into an electric pole.

Sudarshan, a native of Ganapathy in Coimbatore, and his friend Darshan were travelling on a two-wheeler on mettupalayam road in Coimbatore.

The two-wheeler lost control and rammed into an electric pole on the side of the road when it reached near AVB School.

Darshan, who was sitting in the back of the two-wheeler, was thrown away and seriously injured. In this case, the neighbours rescued him and sent him to Coimbatore government hospital for treatment.

The Periyanaickenpalayam police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
