City Corporation takes up beautifying city walls with beautiful wall paintings, Portraits of freedom fighters and Historical landmarks painted

The culture of pasting posters in Coimbatore has been on the rise in recent years. Posters are being pasted on bridges and walls in the city despite many warnings.



Coimbatore: In order to prevent the defacing of public spaces by indiscriminate pasting of the posters, the City Corporation has taken up the initiative to beautify the city walls and bridge pillars with beautiful wall paintings.

The culture of pasting posters in Coimbatore has been on the rise in recent years. Posters are being pasted on bridges and walls in the city despite many warnings.

Political parties and movie posters continue to deface the walls of the city despite many warnings.



In order to prevent this, posters have been removed from more than 40 flyover pillars in the Gandhipuram area and the work for wall paintings on them has commenced.



Paintings on Mother Nature, Golden age paintings, Portraits of Freedom fighters and Historical landmarks of Tamil Nadu are being painted.

The public and motorists are eagerly looking at the work being carried out in the city.
