BJP Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan begins 'Padayatra' to Palani from Coimbatore

BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan embarked from Coimbatore on a 'Padayatra' to the Palani Murugan temple. BJP State President Annamalai inaugurated the Padayatra.



Coimbatore: The BJP National Womens' Wing leader and Coimbatore South MLA, Vanathi Srinivasan embarked on a 'Padayatra' to the Palani Murugan temple from Eachanari temple in Coimbatore on the occasion of the 'Thaipusam' festival.



After offering prayers at the Eachanari Vinayaka temple in Coimbatore where her parents were present to bless her, Vanathi Srinivasan began her Padayatra.



The BJP State President Annamalai participated in the event and inaugurated the Padayatra.



BJP workers from Coimbatore and Dindigul districts participated in large numbers and led the way by chanting 'Arogara' and 'Vetrivel Veeravel.'



Vanathi Srinivasan was given a 'vel.'
