Coimbatore Mayor unfurls national flag at Republic Day celebrations in Coimbatore Corporation

Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar unfurls the national flag and paid floral tributes during the Republic Day celebrations held at the Coimbatore Corporation office premises.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar and Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) Commissioner M Prathap garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Republic Day celebrations held at the Coimbatore Corporation office premises.



Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar also unfurls the national flag and paid homage.



Later, the Mayor and the CCMC Commissioner awarded certificates of appreciation to officers and employees of Coimbatore Corporation for their excellent work.



The members of the Municipal Council for the year 2022-2023 in the Corporation had rendered excellent service to the public.



To commend their service, Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar and CCMC Commissioner M Prathap presented the awards to Councillors.



They also presented prizes and certificates to officials who had worked efficiaently in the Corporation for 25 years.



Cultural programs were also performed by students of Corporation schools as part of the Republic Day celebrations.
