Police arrest a ganja peddler near Kavundampalayam

Police arrested a youth involved in the sale of ganja in Kavundampalayam area in the city and seized 1.1 kg of ganja from him.


Coimbatore: The police received a tip-off that ganja was being sold in and around Thudiyalur.

Following this, Thudiyalur police Sub-inspector Guruchandra Vadivel was patrolling the Mullai Nagar area of Kavundampalayam.

At that time, the Police intercepted a man, who was standing suspiciously in Mullukadu area and interrogated him.

The identity of the ganja peddler was given as Loganathan, a resident of the same locality, and he was involved in the sale of ganja in the area.

The police, who arrested him also seized 1.1 kg of ganja from him.
