It is said that he did not go to work due to poor working conditions and low salary offered by his employer.
Gokul, who was depressed over not getting proper employment consumed a synthetic dye from the house yesterday.
Those who were nearby rescued him and rushed him to Coimbatore government hospital for treatment.
