In Coimbatore, a workshop on the use of single window portal on ease of doing business was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Sameeran.
Coimbatore: District Collector Sameeran presided over a workshop on the use of single window portal on behalf of FaMe TN Guidance Tamil at Residency Hotel, Coimbatore.

The meeting was attended by Guide Tamil Nadu Executive Director Asha Ajith, FaMeTN General Manager Sakthivel, District Industries Centre General Manager Thirumurugan, and many other entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the meeting, Collector Sameeran said, as per the guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu in Coimbatore District, in order to encourage new industries and to simplify government clearances for new ventures of entrepreneurs. Obtaining permissions from various government agencies for starting a business has been shifted to a single window system and permissions of various departments are being issued through the internet in one way.
The single window system in Coimbatore is being implemented to facilitate easy grant of clearances and to ensure transparency.
Coimbatore district is a great industrially developed city and an ideal place to start new businesses. The Government is giving priority to various industries which are already functioning here and starting new ones.
This meeting is being held on the application of the Unipolar Resolution Centre for the purpose of clarifying the website. Doubts can be expressed on the openness of technical issues, including timely reforms, he said.
It displayed a demonstration related to a single-window internet interface. A nodal solution centre for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) explained queries related to internet usage.
