City Mayor Kalpana to preside over public grievances meet tomorrow (Jan 3)

The public is informed that a Public Grievances Day meeting will be held at the Coimbatore corporation's main office on January 3 at 11 am under the chairmanship of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Prathap has said in a press release that a public grievances day meeting will be held on January 3 which will be presided over by Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar.

In a statement, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Prathap said, Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar will chair a public grievances day meeting from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. tomorrow (03.01.2023) at the main office of Coimbatore Corporation.

The public in the corporation limits can submit petitions to the Mayor on basic amenities such as birth and death certificates, road facilities, electric lights, drinking water facilities, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health, education etc.

“Immediate action will be taken on these petitions by the respective Corporation officials”, the commissioner said

The public, who attend the meeting are advised to wear masks, use disinfectant, and maintain social distancing.
