Unidentified youth found dead on railway tracks near Somanur

The unidentified body of a 25-year-old was found on the railway track between Coimbatore and Somanur. Podanur railway police are investigating to establish the identity of the dead person.


Coimbatore: The Government Railway Police have received information that the body of an unidentified 25-year-old youth was lying with his head severed on the Coimbatore-Somanur section of the railway track.

The Podanur Railway Police, who reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Coimbatore Government Hospital for post-mortem.



The lettters "DJ" are written on the hand of the deceased youth.

The railway police are investigating to establish the identity of the dead person.
