Cheating in the style of Sathuranga Vettai film - Two persons, including a real estate broker, arrested in Tirupur

Police have arrested two persons, including a real estate broker, for duping several people of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of buying them a house on lease near Palladam.


Tirupur: Nawaz is a resident of Palladam Mangalam Road. He was in the business of a real estate broker. In this case, he has put up a poster on his phone saying that he should buy, sell, rent and call a house in many places in Palladam area.



Following this, many people have been involved in buying, renting and leasing the house. He told the people who came in contact with him that they had beautiful houses at very low prices.

He showed the only house in Palladam Minnagar area on lease to people who were asking for a house and said that he could settle down immediately if he paid Rs 3 lakh.

It is also said that someone showed the person whom Nawaz had set up to be the owner of the house and claimed that he was the owner of the house. Believing this, more than 40 people have given him rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh in advance.

Nawaz used to stretch the wire in a few days after taking advance money from those asking for a house. He allegedly duped several people of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of buying a house and renting it on lease.



Some people who had cheated Nawaz by giving him money have come in search of him intensely. In this case, nawaz, who was hiding in Karuvampalayam area of Tirupur, was caught by the victims and handed over to Palladam police station. Moreover, the persons affected by him are constantly complaining one by one.

Rangaraj, who played the role of the owner of the house, was also arrested by the police. They are also investigating how much money they have cheated. The victims have demanded that the money should be returned and the police should take steps to ensure that no one is cheated like them anymore.
