Candidates can apply for Rural Aptitude Test from Oct. 26 till Nov. 5; Circular sent to all rural schools

Students in Class 9 in rural schools in Tamil Nadu can apply. 50 boys and 50 girls from each revenue district are selected and scholarships are given for four years. Applications for the Rural Talent Search Examination for the current academic year can be downloaded online.



Coimbatore: The Rural Talent Search Examination is conducted every year for students in Class 9 in rural schools in Tamil Nadu. 50 boys and 50 girls from each revenue district are selected and scholarships are given for four years.

Applications for the Rural Talent Search Examination for the current academic year can be downloaded online from October 26 onwards. Applications can be completed and submitted by November 5. Students who wish to apply will have to attach a certificate stating that their family income is within Rs. 1 lakh and hand it over to the respective school headmasters.

Students in Municipal and Corporation areas are not eligible to apply. A circular in this regard has been sent to all the schools in rural areas.
