Sree Annapoorna welcomes Diwali on a sweet note with its 'Diwali Sweet Mela' from Oct. 19 - 24 at its Coimbatore branches

Sree Annapoorna's unique 'Red Velvet Mysurpa' is making its debut this year to tickle the palate of sweet-lovers, to kick-start Diwali. The Red Velvet Mysurpa has a soft texture with a little fluffy feel of a red velvet cake and melts in the mouth.



Coimbatore: Sree Annapoorna kick-started a unique 'Diwali Sweet Mela' from October 19-24 at its branches on Mettupalayam Road, R S Puram, Ganapathy, Avinashi Road and also at its outlet in People's Park. D Sundararajan, Vice Chairman, Sree Annapoorna Hotels presided over the launch of the Diwali Sweet Mela.



While Red Velvet Cakes have always been a craze among sweet aficionados, Sree Annapoorna's Red Velvet Mysurpa is making its debut this year to tickle the palate of sweet-lovers, to kick-start Diwali. The Red Velvet Mysurpa has a soft texture with a little fluffy feel of a red velvet cake and melts in the mouth.



As the first-ever creation in Coimbatore by a sweet-maker, Sree Annapoorna is introducing the Red Velvet Mysurpa at its Diwali Sweet Mela.



This year, Coimbatoreans can choose from more than 150 varieties of pure ghee sweets offered at Sree Annapoorna during the Diwali Sweet Mela which commenced on Wednesday and will continue till October 24 at all its branches.



Along with the Classics that Sree Annapoorna has been offering over the years, customers will now be served new delights like Rose Badam Laddu, Pure Pista Laddu, Red Velvet Mysurpa, Coconut Malai Laddu, Rose Malai Laddu, Creamy Beetroot Halwa, Kaju Pista Halwa and many more delights.



A member of the Sree Annapoorna sales crew stated, "Six months ago, Sree Annapoorna started introducing two new sweets every week to the customers, and they have become familiar with them. We expect a good sale of sweets at the Mela."



K S Subramaniam, Director and G T Moorthy, Chief General Manager, Sodaltech Group of Companies initiated the first sale of the Mela in the presence of Roger, Manager of Sree Annapoorna Mettupalayam Branch, Shiva Shankar, Finance Manager, Sree Annapoorna Hotels along with the customers of the hotel.
