'Warning signs to be installed at all accident prone zones in the city', says, DC (traffic)

The Coimbatore city traffic police is leaving no stone unturned to instill safe travelling practices and adherence to traffic rules amongst the public. Continuous awareness campaigns targeting students, the future drivers are also being successfully implemented at various colleges in the city. 

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Traffic, S. Saravanan has stated that accident prone zones in the city has been identified for installation of warning boards and signs. Speaking on this, 'In the intent of curbing the rate of accidents in the city, high risk zones prone for accidents has been identified at Avinashi and Kurichi roads. 

Warning signs bearing 'Accident prone zone' 'Go slow' will be fixed at places with prominent visibility to the motorist. More importantly, the public should inculcate the habit of adhering to traffic rules and drive responsible driving at all times at all places'. DC said.
