Over 50,000 books on agriculture at book fair

More than 50,000 books are on display at the two-day book exhibition, which began at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) here. The books are mainly for purchase for libraries in university and constituent colleges.

Organised by TNAU, nearly 20 publishers and suppliers are showcasing the books, which are on agriculture and allied subjects such as horticulture, agricultural engineering, agricultural biotechnology and forestry.

University Vice-Chancellor K. Ramasamy inaugurated the fair. Librarians and faculty from the constituent colleges of TNAU visited the fair to select books for their libraries.
