Coimbatore: Unemployed youth who have registered at the Employment office are to get monthly financial assistance from the Tamil Nadu Government.

Coimbatore: Unemployed youth who have registered at the Employment office are to get monthly financial assistance from the Tamil Nadu Government. 

As per the Scheme, youth who have not completed Class 10 will get Rs. 200 and students who have completed Class 10 will get Rs. 300, while those who have completed Class 12 will get Rs. 400 and graduates and post-graduate degree holders will get Rs. 600. Those who have registered at the Employment office and are awaiting employment for over five years are eligible beneficiaries for this scheme.

The differently-abled who have registered at the Employment office and completed Class 10 are to get Rs. 600, those who have completed Class 12 will get Rs. 75, while graduates and post-graduate holders will get Rs. 1,000. The beneficiaries under this Scheme will be those who are awaiting employment for over a year.

Applicants in the case of the Adidravidar and tribals should not be over 45 years old, whereas other category applicants should not be more than 40 years old. The family annual income of the applicants should not exceed Rs. 72,000 whereas no such limitations are specified for the differently abled. The applicant should have completed his studies in Tamil Nadu, be a resident of the State for 15 years and should have been without any employment to qualify for availing this scheme.

The District Collector, K Rajamani has urged eligible applicants to obtain the application form from the Coimbatore District Employment Office or download it from http://tnvelaivaaippu.gov.in 

Applicants who are already receiving financial assistance should submit entries directly of the amount received with self-declared document, xerox copy of bank passbook with details such as Account No, MICR, IFSC code and the xerox copy of employment record directly or through post to the Employment office from October 1 to December 31. 

The self-declaration form can be downloaded from www.employmentexchange.tn.gov.in Those who had not submitted their self-declaration form will not continue to receive the financial assistance fund and hence the District Collector has asked all applicants to submit the self-declaration form.
