Coimbatore: The CCMC Commissioner and Special Officer, Sravan Kumar Jatavath announced that the United India Insurance Company had implemented a new medical insurance scheme in Coimbatore.
In his statement, the CCMC Commissioner said that pensioners (including life partner) and family pensioners who are receiving a pension in the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation could avail the medical insurance scheme being offered by the United India Insurance Company as per the Government order No. 222 Fund (Pension Department) dated 30.06.2018, Govt. order No. 73 dated 28.05.2019 and as per the Corporation Council resolution, No. 133 dated 19.07.2019. From 1.10.2019 onward, the new medical insurance scheme has been implemented.
The CCMC Commissioner has requested pensioners who are receiving a pension from the Coimbatore Municipal Coroporation should submit a photo along with spouse/family pensioners, and fill in the Annexure form 4 and submit it at the District Collectorate main office, before November 29.
