Coimbatore : The Election Commission of India has launched Electors Verification Programme (EVP) that facilitates voters to check their details in the 2020 voters id list on their own.

The voters can check for their details with their passport, driving license, Aadhar card, Family card or any other proof approved by the Election Commission of India.
The voters can check their voter list through Voter's Helpline App or website service NVSP or e-seva centers or respective poll booth.
The voters can check if their name, date of birth, age, relation's name, relationship, photo, gender are entered right in the list.
And if there are any corrections to be made, then it can be done online or in the voting poll booth or through the voting poll booth officer.
With the documents mentioned above, voters who have had a change of place, whose details are not entered, relatives of a deceased person can submit their details to the electoral registration officer for updating.
This facility is provided in all the Electoral Registration Offices ( Revenue Divisional and Corporation Deputy Commissioner office), voting service centres from September 1to 30.
Aged and physically disabled voters can call to the toll-free number 1950 of the district administration and update their voter list.
The voters can give the Electoral Registration Officer respective forms for name inclusion (form 6), name exclusion (form 7), change in entry (form 8 or 8A).
