College Union Inauguration of Nirmala College for Women for the academic year 2023-2024 was held at 2.00 p.m. This occasion was marked by the institution’s mission to “Knowledge purifies, Charity Enhances†as the management, staff and students donated Rs 1 lakh towards the medical expenses of DhanyaShri, who had an accident and is currently undergoing treatment at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Nirmala College for Women's College Union Inauguration for the Academic Year 2023-2024 was held on July 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Morning Star Auditorium.
The programme began with a prayer song and was followed by the Lighting Ceremony. All the Union Members took up the oath administered by the Principal Rev.Sr.Dr. Mary Fabiola.
Adv.Rtn.AKSN.Sundaravadivelu - Advocate and former Special Public Prosecutor, CBI Cases - inaugurated the event and spoke on leadership and the qualities of a good leader. He emphasised the power of youth and advised students to kindle the spark of hope and knowledge offered by the institution. He insisted on the Students' community being grateful to the Institution for all of the resources and support provided, and he praised the College for its loyal service over the previous 75 years.
The Inauguration programme was coordinated by the Students Affairs Committee, led by the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr.R.Malliga, and presided over by the Secretary of the College, Rev.Sr.Dr.Ruby Alangara Mary, in the gracious presence of Rev.Sr.Dr. Kulandai Therese, Superior, Nirmala Convent.
