Samsung to sell smartphones for just Re 1 as part of 'Make for India Celebrations'

South Korean multinational conglomerate company Samsung is selling smartphones for Re 1 in India as part of 'Make for India Celebrations'.

According to the company's website, the buyers can pay the remaining amount in 10 EMIs.

The company is also offering deals on TVs, ACs, Refrigerators, washing machines and microwave along with the smartphones.

The move by Samsung comes only days after the company announced that it has overtaken Apple in the smartphone segment in January-March quarter.
