Apple has sent out invites for its first keynote announcement event of 2016 on March 21. Traditionally Apple sets up its launch event in the month of September but this year it has commenced earlier.
As always there are a number of speculations for Monday’s launch and it is widely expected that the tech giant will be releasing smaller display iPhones and a new model of iPad.
Apple iPhone 5 SE and iPhone SE
The new devices are likely to be called iPhone SE and iPhone 5SE, according to Cnet. These two models are expected to replace iPhone 5S and 5C models in the markets.
The rumoured iPhones are likely to bring back the old screen sizes of 4 to 5.5 inch display.
According to MacRumors, one of the largest forums for Apple-related news, the new iPhone may sport the design of iPhone 5 but with the curved edges, just like the new iPhone 6 series. It is also rumoured to run on the A8 processor, and the Touch ID feature could also be there.

Apple posted an invite online that said “Let us loop you in” which hints towards a connection with Apple Watch that was launched last year.
