Medical Camp Organized for Differently Abled Children in Udumalpet

Udumalpet: In a significant initiative, the government-run school in Udumalpet, Tiruppur district, hosted a medical camp specifically designed for differently abled children.

The medical camp catered to over 200 differently abled children, organized by the Udumalpet government school authorities. Approximately 150 children with disabilities attended the camp along with 70 adults and 80 elderly individuals. As part of this initiative, national identity cards were issued to 64 individuals.

During the camp, 28 individuals received national identity cards for children, and 38 individuals received cards for adults. Additionally, refreshments were provided to all attendees. The medical camp was supervised by prominent personalities, including Shanmugasundaram, a coordinator, Kandasamy, a special educator, and other esteemed medical professionals. Differently abled individuals from Udumalpet and surrounding areas, totaling more than 200, participated in the event.
