Gokul's all round display scripts Kovai Comrades' win in TNCA-CDCA fourth division league match

Coimbatore : An all round display by S Gokul Moorthy (64 runs and 5/26) scripted Kovai Comrades' 32-run win over Coimbatore Raiders Cricket Academy in the TNCA-CDCA fourth division league match at the Rathinam Technical Campus ground, on Sunday.

Kovai Comrades batted first and it was only with the help of Gokul Moorthy's steady innings of 64 that the team managed to put up a decent score of 136 in 42.3 overs. In spite of the low score, Gokul Moorthy wielded magic with the ball this time and ran through the Coimbatore Raiders batsmen at regular intervals, to ensure victory for Kovai Comades. The duo Gokul and B Karthik shared all 10 wickets between them.

Kovai Comrades 136 in 42.3 overs (S Gokul Moorthy 64, A Karthikeyan 4/32, D Rajesh 3/30) defeated Coimbatore Raiders C A 104 in 30.3 overs (S P Mahesh Ram 39, S Gokul Moorthy 5/26, B Karthik 4/22).
