Two unidentified persons wearing face masks entered by the SBI Bank ATM near Maruthuvam in Karamadai at around 1.30 am yesterday. As the alarm started blaring while they were trying to break open the atm, they fled the place.

Two unidentified men who came there at midnight yesterday, wearing face masks, approached the SBI Bank ATM. They entered the premises at around 1.30 am and tried to rob it.
Of the two, one was waiting to monitor from the outside and the other was trying to disconnect the alarm wire before entering the ATM machine. Later, he tried to break into the ATM machine. At that moment, the alarm went off and the two panicked and got into their vehicle and fled the scene.
