A juice shop and the petty shops adjacent to this one near the bus stand opposite to the Eachanari Temple in Pollachi Main Road were broken into in the middle of the night. The robbers broke through the roof of the Blue Star Fruit Station and a nearby petty shop here and looted the goods and the money from the shops.
Police rushed to the spot upon information and are investigating the incidents. The police speculate that a well-acquainted person could be involved in the case and the fingerprints of the old criminals are being scrutinised.
