Coimbatore: An 84-year-old old man near Coimbatore has complained of 'dead lizard' inside a packet of rusk which he has been using for the past 4 days.
Krishnasamy, a resident of Ganapathy, here had purchased a packet of rusk at a shop, four days ago. As he was suffering from fever, the elderly man has been consuming the rusk along with milk for around 4 days.
Today, as the packet was about to be over, he had emptied the packet in a plate and was shocked to find a decayed lizard in the rusk packet.
Considering the fact that when unwell the elderly and children consume rusk paired with milk, the concerned elderly man informed that he would promptly raise the issue to the food and safety officials.
