'The depression has weakened and moved west to Chennai. It will no longer rain in northern Tamil Nadu but there was a low pressure area development near Andaman. Its movement will weaken in the coming days. The Kongu Zone is likely to receive moderate to heavy rains on Friday and heavy showers in the Kongu Zone for the next five days,' predicted Santosh Krishnan.
