Coimbatore: A special prayer meet was organised today at GM Nagar, Ukkadam, Coimbatore on the eve of Miladi Nabi festival on Tuesday.
The birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, who is regarded as the Messenger of God of Islam, is celebrated across the world as Miladi Nabi.
On the occasion, a special prayer meet was called for by the Sunnat Jamaat Youth Federation in the GM Nagar, here. Maulavi Muhammad Ali attended this prayer and offered prayers for all. Tafrooq was distributed to more than 10 thousand people in the area.
The special prayer meet was attended by Haji Itayatullah, President of the Sunnat Jamaat Policy Federation, Syed, President of the Sunnat Jamaat Youth Federation, and Imams of the mosque.
