Coimbatore: Coimbatore East District DMK in-charge and former MLA, N Karthik met the Minister of Industries, Thangam Thennarasu regarding the recent developments in Tamil Nadu textile mills and some of the problems faced by them.

Later, he also met the Minister of Electricity, Prohibition and Excise, V Senthil Balaji and discussed about the electricity and solar power provided to the spinning mills in Tamil Nadu.

N Karthik also met the Minister of Rural Industries, T M Anbarasan and discussed the developments in Tamil Nadu's MSMEs and the challenges faced by them.
Following this, he met the Minister of Handloom and Textiles of Tamil Nadu, R Gandhi and discussed about the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) and the benefits of setting up a cotton yarn depot in Tamil Nadu for spinning mills in Tamil Nadu which will result in the development of spinning mills.
