Coimbatore: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued fresh weather updates predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states till 31st August.
According to the latest updates, it is predicted that the coastal and south interior regions in Tamil Nadu will receive widespread to very heavy rainfall in the next two days. Additionally, the ghat areas of Tamil Nadu are expected to receive extremely heavy rainfall on 28 and 29 August.
Santhosh Krishnan, popularly known as Coimbatore Weatherman states there is nothing to panic. He conveyed that Coimbatore and Tiruppur will experience slight drizzles. West Palakkad, will have moderate rains. According to his predictions, for the next three days, Valparai, Siruvani, and Nilgiris are likely to receive moderate rainfall.
