Another Pak boat seized off Gujarat coast

A day after the Border Security Force seized a Pakistani boat from the river Ravi in Amritsar, another Pakistani boat has been seized from the creek area of Kutch.

Sources said, nine crew members, believed to be Pakistani nationals, were in the boat. They have been searched and handed over to the police for further action. However, no weapons or explosives were found with them.

But what raises suspicion is the fact that the boat was spotted near Harami Nala, where no fishing is done during this season.

The Coast Guard had apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat last Sunday from 100 nautical miles off porbandar coast.

The seizures come at a time when there is heightened vigil due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan.
