KOLOR CHAMP 2016 edition of painting contest successfully organized in Coimbatore

Recently, Globalart which is a unit of SIP Academy India is organized the fourth edition of the regional painting competition. About 350 children between the age group of 5 and 15 years from Coimbatore, Erode, Gobichettipalayam, Salem and Tirupur participated in this contest. This event was hosted at Mani Mahal, Ramalakshmi Nagar, Hope College, Peelamedu, Coimbatore. Sujani Balu, Apex Member, Siruthuli was the Chief Guest while P S Vinod, Manager, Ganapathy Silks was Guest of Honour for this event.



The participants were divided into four categories and S Roshan, G.N.Amirtha Vishakan, Varshasri.C and Preetika N were declared winners in the various categories.







Launched in India by SIP Academy India in 2005, the Global Art programme is a one-of-its-kind international creative art programme for children between the age group of 5 to 15 years. SIP Academy India was started in 2003 and has been successfully running skill development programmes for children for the last 13 years. SIP has over the years enriched 3,50,000 children across 21 states in our country.

Students who are a part of this academy have obtained national and international resignation. As a part of ‘Save the Tiger’ Campaign and for ‘Climate Change’ campaign NGO World Wildlife Fund (W.W.F) has uploaded creative of children who are a part of this academy on their official website. Global Art Children’s creative were displayed at the 2nd World Ministerial Conference with delegates from 13 Tiger range countries at Bali Indonesia in 2010. W.W.F Indonesia warded certificates of appreciation to Global Art as well the students whose creative were displayed.
