Coimbatore: Police are on the lookout for a miscreant who called the Chennai Police Headquarters to give a bomb threat to the Pollachi and Coimbatore Railway Stations here.
The Chennai Headquarters had received a call on Saturday from a man who claimed that he overheard a bomb planting in the Pollachi Railway Station. He had said that he heard two persons talk about the bomb being planted at the Pollachi station adding that it would go off at any time.
Following this, bomb squad searched the area for three hours and could not find any bomb. The person also claimed that bombs would go off in Coimbatore Railway Station.
With police confirming that the threat was a hoax, they are on the lookout for the miscreant who raised the false alarm.
