Actor Ram Charan Visits Ganga Hospital for Review; Set to Resume Work with Physiotherapy

Coimbatore: Actor Ram Charan has returned to work after a follow-up visit to Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, where doctors removed the cast on his right wrist following surgery for a chronic injury. The actor has been recovering well and has been advised to undergo active physiotherapy for the next two to three weeks, according to the hospital.

Speaking about his recovery, Dr. Rajasekaran, Chairman of the Department of Spine and Orthopaedics at Ganga Hospital, said Ram Charan had visited the hospital a couple of days ago for the removal of his cast and a medical review. Following the assessment, the actor was found to have made good progress and was advised to continue active physiotherapy over the next two to three weeks.

Ram Charan underwent surgery on July 27 to treat a complex, chronic tear of the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) in his right wrist. The procedure was performed by a team of specialists at Ganga Hospital, including Dr. Rajasekaran, Dr. Raja Sabapathy, Head of the Plastic Surgery Unit, and Dr. Praveen Bharadwaj.

The actor reportedly sustained the injury while filming a wrestling sequence for his upcoming film Peddi. He continued with the film's shooting and promotional commitments before undergoing the recommended surgery.

His arrival at the hospital in July, accompanied by his father, actor Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha and wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela, had drawn considerable public attention.

His progress and the advice to return to work has brought rejoicement among his fans and well wishers.
