Spectrum Northern Lights School Hosts KIDZ Football Tournament 2026; Wolfpack Clinches Title

Coimbatore: Spectrum Northern Lights School successfully hosted the KIDZ Football Tournament 2026, bringing together young footballers from across the region for a day of exciting football, spirited competition, and exemplary sportsmanship.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from several teams, with players displaying exceptional talent, teamwork, determination, and discipline throughout the event. Wolfpack emerged as the tournament champions, while Nex Gen finished as runners-up. BFA A secured third place, followed by One United in fourth, FC Kovai in fifth, Nilgiri FA in sixth, FC Kovai Nanjundapuram in seventh, and BFA B in eighth, capping off a memorable celebration of youth football.

Individual honours were also presented to recognise outstanding performances. Arrish (Wolfpack) and Sidharth (Nex Gen) were named Best Players, while Abi (Wolfpack) and Vinay (FC Kovai) received the Best Goalkeeper awards. Ridhan (Wolfpack) and Krithick (One United) were honoured as Best Playmakers, with Ridhan (Wolfpack) and Sidharth (Nex Gen) also recognised as the Youngest Players. The Best Defender awards went to Lithikesh (Wolfpack) and Nikhil (Nex Gen), while Vihaan (FC Kovai) and Vihaan (BFA A) received the Special Awards.

The organisers congratulated all the players, coaches, parents, and participating teams for making the tournament a grand success, stating that the event celebrated not only footballing excellence but also the values of teamwork, discipline, and fair play. They expressed hope that the tournament would continue to inspire young footballers and nurture future champions in the years to come.
